University of Iowa Bomb Dog Protects the Paint Let the Madness Begin!
While the official first day of Spring this year of 2016 is March 20th, nothing ushers in the end of the winter season better than the start of the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament! Being a company that collectively loves playing and watching sports, the employees of K9 Storm regularly participate in the nationwide bracket games with in-house bragging rights on the line.
Tournament top seeds Kansas, Oregon, Virginia, and North Carolina are all solid picks to be crowned champion; however here at K9 Storm, our favorite team has to be the 7th seeded University of Iowa Hawkeyes because of their bomb detection canine, "Jago". This intelligent dog is trained to identify potential explosive threats on the University campus using his keen sense of smell and he does it all wearing his custom-fit K9 Storm Patrol Swat Vest!
Whether you choose to fly with the Hawkeyes this year or not, we can all appreciate the hard work that Jago and his handler, Jess Bernhard put in to make their home arena a safe place to be for both players and fans alike.
GO HAWKS!
